Spacefest was held yesterday and Friday at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio.
I attended the event on both days and got to meet a lot of nice people. I am sure that I probably ran into a fellow collectSACE member or two? Getting to meet astronauts Mark Browm and Greg (Box) Johnson was neat. Also, we got to sing Happy Birthday to Greg on his birthday, yesterday!
Both astronauts gave great presentations and willingly signed autographs. I also won a book for answering all the space history questions right.
Overall, a great time and neat to see all the aircraft there. Did any other collectSPACE member(s) attend?

Astronaut Guy Bluford was in attendance as well. I got to meet him for the second time. He also gave a presentation but I was not able to attend that one.

I attended the Spacefest event as well and had a great time. The presentations by Guy Bluford, Mark Brown and Greg Johnson were really terrific. There presentations gave a good representation to the 30 year history of the space shuttle.
All three were really gracious providing autographs to everyone who attended the presentations. I even had the honor of having lunch with Guy before his presentation. Both of us live in the Cleveland area and had a fun time talking about his missions and golf.
The folks at the museum did a great job hosting the event. I'm really looking forward to attending next's year's event.
