I will be chairing the meeting. I understand a 50 minute talk followed by a buffet. Some old friend from Autographica attending. Much Fun.

See you there folks. Not looking forward to the drive through London, but it is convenient door to door as long as a small parking space presents itself upon arrival. We did consider jet packs but they are so noisy and there is bound to be some hidden London based charge for arriving on one.... and then I woke up.

Fifty-four members of the BIS and guests attended the Jeff Hoffman talk which covered his mission to Hubble and the various other servicing missions. Fifty-five minutes of real information and insights plus questions. He then signed a few autographs but talked to members for a further hour informally.

I want to thank him and those from collectSPACE who attended. Another great evening organised by BIS.

Rex, well done to the BIS for oganising/hosting the event. Well worth the drive (thanks to the wife, I was riding Satnav). Thanks to Jeff Hoffman and Mrs H. Nice to see cS'ers Rex and wife, Andy G (Stardome) and Derek not sure if he is a cS'er but always attends anything space related. What a buffet and what a raffle (Shall I open the red wine prize bottle or the white wine prize bottle...). Neither its too late and I'm tired from the satnavving... in the centre of London even the satnav seems to go into dither mode, left, right, no left, stall... not sure... loss of signal etc. Goodnight!

It was a great event yet again, a lot of hard work put in by those behind the scenes. Thank you to Suzanne, Mary and Ben, Rex was brilliant as always.

It was nice to see Jeff again, and even better that he remembered our lecturing together on the QM-2, always nice to see his wife "B".

Fantastic event and happy I could help out, even in a small way.

Was good to see Rex and his wife, along with Nick (Spaceboosters) and Bryar as always, welcome back to BIS Nick.

Hope everyone enjoyed the evening and had a safe trip home.

All times are CT (US)
