Well kind of...

My wife and I were at the annual Steuben Day Parade in NYC enjoying a beautiful Saturday afternoon when all of a sudden... A Neil Armstrong float celebrating 40 years in Space drives up Fifth Ave. What a fun surprise.

Fun! Checking the parade's website now, it offers a brief explanation why the Armstrong float...
This July, it has been 40 years since the first man set foot on the surface of the moon. This modern pioneer, Neil Armstrong, is a German-American. His mother, Viola Engel, had her roots in the village of Ladbergen (Westphalia) in the 1860s.

All times are CT (US)
