Hi,

Neil Armstrong will visit Norway and Oslo Concert Hall on the 3rd of November 2006, giving a 2hr speech about his life and his experiences, somewhere between 9AM-4PM.

Looks like I finally get the chance to see this lengend up close! I have always dreamt of meeting one of the Apollo astronauts live, and getting to meet Neil Armstrong.. Perhaps I should invite him for a trip in my confy sailplane? Hehe.

People who are interested (primarily Scandinavians I guess, since the entire web page is written in Norwegian) http://www.networkmarketing.no/artikkel_les.php?ar_id=1112

Hej Eirik,

Hi Scott, great to hear from you. Hope you enjoyed Norway, although we rarely have astronaut visits. William Anders was here last year at some Air Show in Bergen, but unfortunately I was not able to go.

Yeah, I know about the NATO Headquarters, hopefully I'll spend some time in the US in the years to come, as I'm applying for the Norwegian Air Force pilot school next summer (Norwegian Fighter pilots are attending the joint pilot school at Shepard AFB). Perhaps I'll even make it to the legendary test pilot school, although that is more of a vague dream for me.

Great web page, although my English is far from perfect I enjoy reading discussions and space news here.

Paul,
I agree, the price is insane. 4000 NOK is a fairly high price to pay, but I do think it's worth it. I'll try and purchase tickets for myself and my dad tomorrow.
