The crew of STS121 will be in the UK at the end of November/beginning of December. There will definately be a public event at the National Space Centre in Leicester and possibly a few others elsewhere.

It's still early days and all the details are yet to be confirmed but thought I'd give you all a heads up so you don't go booking any holidays!

Thank you for the advance warning.
Piers Sellers brought the STS 112 crew over to the UK and I was lucky to see them at the Science Museum and get a photograph of the Space Station signed by the crew.

The main event at the Science Museum was a presentation to schoolchildren ( I think in the IMAX theatre) and they only had a very short time to meet the rest of us by the LM mock up.

The crew were very open, friendly and answered as many questions as they could and signed lots of autographs but they had minders keen to rush them to the next event and time was pressing.

The event was arranged mid week and at lunchtime and was difficult to get to if like me you have to work for a living.
If you do want to meet them and be certain of an autograph try to get to the National Space Centre.
