When I checked CNN.com's "Science and Space" page this morning, what did I see but the business end of the US Space & Rocket Center's S-IVB (from the Skylab mockup)!The lead story on "Science and Space" tells how NASA engineers, in addition to referring back to Apollo documentation, are taking a look at actual Apollo hardware while researching designs for the new lunar hardware. quote:
They say they have documents, but they feel more comfortable coming in and putting their hands on things.
