The Canadian Space Agency and its achievements are a point of pride for all Canadians.The Markham Museum in Markham Ontario ... Near the city of Toronto is currently hostingit's newest exhibit "Space and Heroes" celebrates space travel and it's heroes, providingaccess to the personal reactions of astronauts at the wonder and majesty of the space exploration experience. Visitors can learn about space travel through artwork created by astronauts as well as artifacts actually worn and handled by them.
STARDAZE Space Weekend (February 24-26) is a upcoming special event at the museum where people can learn more about the space industry. It's educational - with planetarium shows, telescoping, and workshops - and will also offer thrilling opportunities to meet Canadian Astronaut Dr. Ken Money and other celebrities from the space industry.
Some of the items that are on display .... (Apollo 12) Alan Bean's painting "My brother Jim Irwin"Space suits, Flags and patches carried to the moon. Paintings by Apollo 11 astronaut Mike Collins.

On Saturday 25th. It is planned that Dr. Money will give a talk for (30 Minutes) at 2:00pmThen followed by a meet and greet (30 Minutes-1 Hour)
On the Sunday 26th .... We plan to have Space Artist John Platt ... Doing a painting at the event. We also plan to have a guest speaker Dr. Michel Finch, Associate Professor, University of Waterloo.
The Exhibition is planned to be held till November 2006.
