Florida Today has announced a new database showing every launch from the Cape,KSc since the Bumper flight in the 50's including offshore missile tests .Site is at :-- http://www.floridatoday.com/maps/launches/launches.htm It is basic list of the launch date, vehicle, pad (where applicable) and the payload/s if any. It helped me straight away for a launch I saw from the nuclear sub George Washington in 1973. It was Poseidon missile but nevr knew the number designation of it - now I do ! Thanks Phill! Interesting site. I guess I never realized that STS 51-L, Challenger's tragic last launch, was the first launch of a space shuttle from LC39, Pad B. On a brighter note, I also found that on the day I was born, 10-10-61, a Pershing 1 launched from LC30! Rob
