Author Topic:   NASA & Mars Society : First week of August 2006 Philip Member Posts: 5952 From: Brussels, Belgium Registered: Jan 2001 posted 03-17-2006 03:26 AM                NASA Administrator Dr. Mike Griffin has agreed to speak at the 9th International Mars Society Convention, which will be held August 3-6, 2006 at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel, Washington DC. Dr. Griffin's talk will be the opening plenary address of the conference, and will run from 9 AM to 10 AM on the morning of Thursday, August 3. Several other very high level NASA officials, as well as many leading scientists, engineers, and exploration strategists have also agreed to talk at the conference.
