Here's hoping your birthday inspires people this year the way it did the president two years ago!

Thank you Kris, Zee, Jack, David, Scott and Randy for the birthday wishes!

Yes, my 30th is on Saturday. I would have replied earlier but I was on a plane heading to my birthday getaway.

As Dave hints, NASA gave me a heck of a birthday present two years ago (and a very memorable way to spend part of the day, with the President). This year, they haven't let me down but more on that tomorrow evening.

So that means that, ten years to the day after Sergei Korolev died, Robert was born...

On a more cheerful note, Soyuz 4 "lit the candles" on your birthday too!

Hi Robert-

Let me join the chorus of those wishing you the best on your birthday.

Since I'll be seeing 50 before the year is out I can tell you that 30 is a "piece of cake" - so have one and enjoy!

So now that you're moving on in years, you'll be looking for a replacement to take over the site.

Hmm, well we could start with, oh I don't know, me?

Seriously though! Happy 30th! Hope you get a real candle on Tuesday!

Not a problem, Robert, aging doesn't make any difference at all.

Rob was wise beyond his years when I met him about 7 years ago at an early CollectSpace sighting of Alan Bean at University of Delaware.

He has always been generous and helpful.

And many of us can say, He's a good friend.

And Happy Birthday Rob.

Best regards, Garry

Happy Birthday, Big Guy!!

Here's to many, many more years of making us all jealous of the astros you hang out with and the collection of flown 'stuff' that you have.

Happy Birthday Robert. You must be of an age when it would be cheaper and easier to stick a shuttle SRB on your cake than all those candles.... I should know, I need two!!!!!

Regards,

Rick.

So Rob, How did you spend your 30th birthday?

Sounded like possibly a trip to KSC or Washington, DC. . . .

(you said you would tell us)

Robert--Theresa and I just got back home for the evening. It was great having you over and I'll look forward to seeing you again on Tuesday (Go Atlas V/NH ! ! !). Once again, HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY, and sorry this had to be a day late. I know you had a great birthday week, thus far, while visiting Florida's Space Coast. God Bless!

Robert,
I hope you had a great Birthday, and don't let anyone convince you to get married, unless ofcourse, they like space stuff too!

Please let us know how your B-day went.
