If you live in the New England area, consider joining Skyscrapers Inc., one of the country's oldest amateur astronomy groups, on September 30 and October 1 for our annual event called Astro Assembly. This years lineup of speakers includes author Dr. William Sheehan and Mars expert Dr. Jim Head to name a few. Our keynote speaker this year is Story Musgrave.

We've got a wonderful facility nestled in the northern part of the state. The Society owns and operates Seagrave Memorial Observatory and some of our instruments include a 10", 12", and 16" Meade Cassegrains. Our pride and joy is our 8.25" Alvan Clark refractor, built in 1878. For more information on Skyscrapers and Astro Assembly see our website at: www.theskyscrapers.org

Best, Dan
