The Charlie Duke presentation in Wellington, Kansas was fabulous. He talked about both his military and NASA career, showed a 15 minute video about his flight to the moon on Apollo 16, answered questions, and signed autographs. Some of us collectspacers who attended talked with him briefly after everyone else had left. He was very nice and very informative..All in all, a very enjoyable day...

Sounds like a fantastic event. I really missed out on that one. IF I would have takent the day off my replacement would have missed his daughter's wedding. I am so nice that it makes me sick.

I would have gone but it was way too far away for me, lol. I'm glad to hear some legends are still very gracious and caing of fans.
