There's a 3-part public appearance by Chuck Yeager on October 30th. 2 of the 3 subevents have an admission charge, to benefit the Chuck Yeager Foundation and its work with children, and tickets are limited. The 3 parts are...

3 pm: Talk by Yeager at Nevada Union H.S.
5 pm: Dedication of donated F-104 at airport
8 pm: Reception at airport

You can find information via the home page of my web site, see http://www.sierrafoot.org/

This is a rare opportunity for those of us in northern California, perhaps I'll see some of the there.

Paul, welcome to CollectSpace!

Nice to see posts from someone nearby....
Maybe we can hook up at the Yeager event? A friend's group is having a CD release party up that way on the 30th. Seeing Chuck Yeager sounds like a great start to the evening.

Nice webpage, BTW. Liked your local issues section.

Cool you got to take your wheels out on the track at Laguna Seca. I did three laps back in Y2K in my Modena Mobile. Talk about fun. That corkscrew down on the backside is like the roads we drive every day, eh?

P.S. Word to the wise...don't say anything remotely logical politically here....from one who tried.

All times are CT (US)
