Discovered too late for the Sightings calendar, but should anyone be able to take advantage:

April 21, 2004
Tucson, Arizona
7:00pm - Donald Pettit (STS-113, ISS-6)

Free public lecture: "Science of Opportunity Aboard the International Space Station"
Room 308, Kuiper Space Sciences Center, University of Arizona

Pettit will meet with the public during a reception following his talk. Free cake and punch will be served.

Pettit has *absolutely* fantastic pics of the earth from ISS. Must be seen to be believed like they say. A very worthwhile drive. He is also the fix-it man's man. I think he duct taped his Makita power drill to his bag before he went to sleep each night.

Possibly he rigged up a special attachment to his Makita power drill and mixed the cake batter......
