Has anyone heard of any big events involving any astronauts to open the new Smithsonian at Dulles Airport?

I have been wondering about this myself....am planning to take my son (who is 4 1/2 and completely obsessed with space) and am loathe to make our travel arrangements before there are more details available (with my luck, I would plan to leave the day before an astronaut appearance.)

I emailed the museum more than a month ago and they said that information would be forthcoming, but so far, no news...
