In April of 2001, he did a signing at Novaspace. Response was overwhelming. He cancelled another signing here in January of this year, but has graciously agreed to come here again and sign some mailed-in memorabilia. He will only sign autographs at this signing. He will accept no mailed autographs from us, or anyone else, at his office. The PRIVATE personal memorabilia autograph signing session will be held behind locked doors at an unspecified time and location. Only necessary gallery staff can be present during the personal signing. Tuesday, November 4 is the deadline. Anything received after that will be subject to a $25 late fee, or may be set aside if we can't get to it. |

Any chance Jim will be doing a book signing at the November 11 appearance at the NASM. For those of us who can't be there, is there any chance collectSPACE can arrange a book signing such as the Stafford or Cunningham signings? |

Udvar-Hazy Center now under construction at Washington Dulles International Airport. Captain Lovell will sign copies of this book after the lecture in the museum's Milestones of Flight Gallery. |

Only necessary gallery staff can be present during the personal signing.I must say that this part of novaspace's announcement absolutely cracked me up. I mean-if no one know's where it's going to be, why do they have to lock the doors? Is the Declaration of Independence going to be in there with them? Is he visiting the President while he's doing the signing? I know they are trying to pump up interest and sales, and I absoluteley agree that Mr. Lovell is a hero, but this totally out of place "laying down the law" talk where none needs to be laid, is pretty funny. |

Those folks fortunately have a sense of humor.My guess is that they don't want people 'stalking' the gallery on that day. Rizz |

How does a copy of Apollo 13: Anniversary Edition differ from the original book Lost Moon or the re-release titled Apollo 13 ? |

It probably differs in the fact that one gets signed........the others don't. |

Huh? Where on the Novaspace website does it say he will only sign one version of his book? The only difference, from what I can tell, between the Anniversary edition and the earlier Lost Moon (and retitled "Apollo 13") is a new preface. |

Just got back from holiday in FLA and saw this posting. Great news that another signing has been arranged, just what I had hoped for. Bad news is that there is no way I can afford to get my GT12 crew walkout pic completed. Gonna have to look for a new pic for JL to sign ! Adam P.S. Don't know if its old news but there is aa space shop in Old Town in Kissimee, and they will have a website up and running soon so they say. |

Hi Al, If you walk down the Old Town road (from the 192), you come up to the NASCAR shop on the corner on the right (by the "NASA" gyro thingy).
Well the shop is just past that on the left hand side. The sign outside just says "International Space Station". They don't have a huge range of stock at the moment, but they do seem to have the full range of Space Voyagers toys. I bought the "Wolf Perry" Apollo astro, the "Adventure Fleet" which is the CSM/LM/LRV Lunar set, and a few aluminium STS-107 coins. If you do get in there, they have a register on the counter for when the website gets up and running. Happy Collecting.........Adam |
