NAMPA — A moon rock brought back from the Apollo 15 mission has landed at the Warhawk Air Museum with several NASA employees from Houston.

The lunar sample is part of the NASA Johnson Space Center “Benefits of Space” exhibit on programs and technology that is used in everyday items such as beds, bike helmets and medicine.

The exhibit, which travels in a semi-trailer, also includes a film on future manned missions to the moon and mars.
