Walt Cunningham will be on the Bill O'Reilly Show on FOX News on Tuesday, Aug. 26 discussing his book, "The All-American Boys", and the Columbia Accident Report.

(The O'Reilly Factor is on at 8 & 11 p.m. ET.)

I saw Walt on Bill's show. Whoever writes the captions underneath the guests needs a history lesson. Whoever it was wrote that "Cunningham Flew The Apollo 7 Shuttle".

Smart.

I saw the show also. Sure would have been nice if Bill would have given Walt more time,.... say the amount of time he gave Greta.

Might have even been nicer had he let him answer a question fully before cutting him off to ask another. For Pete's sake, the man was THERE in the 'old days' and knows a little something about 'rising from the ashes' of a tragedy.

Saw Walt being interviewed by Bill, also, and even though I like Bill (overall), I have to agree with Rick and "Hawkman" on what they said in their prior posts. Walt needed more time and wasn't able to finish a complete sentence. Cunningham also did a syndicted article for nationwide newspapers about the 107/Columbia investigation review that was printed on the 27th.

Agreed, it was terrible how Walt could not finish a sentence. The time allow for him and the way the host treated Walt was insulting. If I had been Walt I would have not been happy about it. MSNBC had Buzz Aldrin on the same evening and did a respectable job interviewing him.

Sorry I missed the interview. I can't believe that Bill O'Reilly would cut off someone in the middle of them trying to answer a question!!! I'm sure the interview was "Fair and Balanced". (Guess I will be sued by FOX now for using their trademarked "Fair and Balanced")

I don't mind Bill O'Reilly cutting people off in mid-sentence if they are just in 'spin' mode or doing a deer-in-the-headlights recitation of talking points but this was not the case. Walt is a great resource and I would have picked his mind clean! :-)
