Alright cS friends, let's see how many of us are going to Autographica! Two years ago I was pleased to meet some members of CollectSpace and of the Astronauts list, but I'm sure I didn't get to meet everyone!Alright, I'll start: I'm going and will be sitting at Al Worden's table. Who else? Frederic Janik |

Hi Frederic,Will be along on the Saturday, won't be able to make it down for the dinner Friday. Looking forward to it very much. We intend to do the dinner at the November event in Coventry - it happens to be on my birthday! Steve |

Hi Frederic,I am attending on the Saturday. I wont be going to the dinner on the Friday night. I did manage to get a ticket for Al Wordens lecture, and for the talk by the Cosmonauts. I look forward to meeting other members of Collectspace on Saturday. I should have mentioned I will be going to Al Wordens lecture then joining his queue...I will be with my wife and two year old daughter wearing her Apollo T shirt. You wont be able to miss me..I`ll be carrying a large folder with photos in it, and carrying a box with my Apollo CSM mnodel for signing. Hope to see you there Regards, Andrew [This message has been edited by andrewcarson (edited April 27, 2003).] |

I'll be there for the Saturday. I wanted to go to the lectures but it was a choice between them and getting what I wanted signed, and the items won. I'll have a blue Apollo shirt on (and a big bag of stuff !) if anyone wants to say hello ;-) Adam |

It will be nice to meet you all.We do not have any special recognition shirts or signs, but at least this year we're lucky that Al will be there; we have all seen him on photos with different astronauts and he will be the anchor that will bring us all together Steve, is your daughter still passionate about space exploration? Cheers Frederic Janik |

I have an idea - I would be at Al's table (Friday night and Sat/Sun) so check in with me as you arrive, and Ill try and make up some labels to use as a nametag of sort identifying you by name and either cS or Astronauts list members (or of course, both). Al |

I'll be there from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning, and I'll be at Al Worden's table. Unfortunately, my otherwise wonderful wife doesn't share my life-long interest in space and has let me loose for two days on my own. I would be happy to spend some of the money that saves me on a round of drinks after the Friday dinner for anyone who quotes this message! Dear God! What have I done?? |

Good Evening I will be there to on all 3 days.I am meeting the Russian cosmonauts at the airport and will be there from start of the fun on Friday morning. I hope the 2 AL's will be able to sit down as there are so many people sitting at that table I will get confused.I also have some lovely 7 by 5 colour photos of ISS crews 5 and 7 (the orginal one)and TMA 1 signed by all 3 crew members and a limited number of individual signed colour photos of Malenchenk,Lu ,Kaleri and others for sale. I also have some unsigned photos of Bass ,Lu,Camarda,Phillips in Sokol suits.Again 7 by 5. They are resonably priced but I have a limited number of each. Search me out and we will find a table some where. Al. It will be great to see you at last. Best Wishes Rex

Thanks for the kind words Rex! We've been "online" friends for some time, and I treasure that friendship. I cannot wait to meet you in person (and the rest of the "blokes"...<G> ). You've long been a great help to me and many others and are quite a notable personality in this hobby. Also, I appreciate your wife helping us "translate" the days of the show too. ;-) Ill see you Friday AM! Cheers! Al |

Hi everyoneI will be there on all 3 days including the dinner. I will be on my own on Friday until joined by my wife for the dinner. Saturday will see both of us and on Sunday will be joined by our 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son. I have not made up my mind what I will be wearing but some home made space T-Shirts will be on at some time with copies of autographed covers on. Certainly I will have space T-Shirts on for the whole weekend but it sounds like that goes for most of us. Jill and I will be on Usachev's table. Al Great idea, some sort of ID tag should help. ???? saying Collect Space and we could add our names. That is just a 'off the top of my head' idea. I am sure you will come up with something very acceptable. Blackarrow You are speaking my language. I am now in the process of committing your message to memory. I am looking forward to meeting you all. I think one or two of us already know each other so that will be a starting point for getting together. Is anyone booking in to the hotel on Thursday evening? Perhaps those that are can have a chat in the bar before bedtime. I should be there Thursday all being well. In the past 3 years I have travelled down on the Friday morning but it has always been a rush and a hassle and I have never got into the show until the afternoon and never felt really relaxed. Best wishes Rob Wood |
