Anyone know what the schedule of events is for Space Day (May 1st) at the NASM? The website doesn't give much in the way of specifics. I see that a couple of Shuttle astronauts as well as John Glenn are listed as attending according to CollectSpace. I'm planning on taking my daughter up and know she would get a thrill out of meeting any of those astronauts. Will they be meeting the public?

Its not clear but I do not believe the public will have access to these events (with the exception of online, through the webcast). The opening ceremony is held before the museum opens to the public and the webcast this year is at NASA HQ, which is restricted to badged visitors only.
