In 1962 there were four suborbital rocket launches from Johnston Island in the Pacific reaching up to 500 km at apogee which carried atom bombs that were exploded.

The four were:

  • 9 July - Starfish Prime
  • 20 October - Checkmate
  • 26 October - Bluegill Triple Prime
  • 1 November - Kingfish
Is anybody aware of any launch covers or commemorative anniversary covers for these launches? And even more intriguingly can anyone post any images of these covers if they exist?
