A dear friend of mine, Phil Docktor, has designed a cancel to be used for the 50th Anniversary of the X-15 program. It will be used at Edwards AFB.

I am not sure of the availability of the cancel, although I am sure you could write to the Postmaster at Edwards and request your envelopes be cancelled.

No need though, Phil designs the most wonderful covers I've seen, and will be offering some in conjunction to the X-15 event to be held in October by the Flight Test Historical Foundation.

The June 22 edition of Linns, which arrived today, has ordering info for the X-15 50th Anniversary postmark pictured above.

Requests for the June 8 cancel should be sent to:
50th Anniversary Station
Box 9998
Edwards AFB, CA 93523-9998

Ordinarily requests for special postmarks are honored for 30 days after the event, so there is still time to send in stamped covers.

All times are CT (US)
