There's a hint of a rumour that there may be a Young/Crippen hometown set of pictorial cancels.
Does anyone know the zip codes of the "official" home towns of these two astronauts so that I may investigate the possibility that a pictorial cancel is indeed available?

Young was born in San Francisco, CA, but considers Orlando, FL, his early hometown where his parents are. Perhaps a post office nearby Orlando's John Young Parkway would be appropriate, but I haven't heard anything from postal authorities there. Crippen was born in Beaumont, TX, but grew up in Porter, TX, where his mother resides. | |
