I have four Apollo patches (10, 13, 16, 17) that are still sealed in their packages, that have a Wolf-Brown Inc. logo. These appear to be vintage era patches, but I've never seen anyone discussing them. I know they were pretty popular for making Vietnam and even WWII military medals and insignias, but does anyone know what years they actually produced NASA items? |

I have the same question. I have an Apollo 13 patch in a Wolf-Brown, Inc. plastic package. The patch appears identical to an early A-B Emblem replica patch. It is my belief that Wolf-Brown is a supplier, not a manufacturer. The company was acquired by Vanguard Industries in 1985. Both companies supplied military emblems, their primary business. At least now you can date Wolf-Brown packaged patches to be 1985 or earlier. | |
