Sorting out my collection this weekend I found a 3" patch with this design and can't find any background information on it.

Souvenir size, so I assume a retail product of some kind, but I'm puzzled by the reference since a web search doesn't seem to pull up anything related to the space program.

A seller on eBay who is offering this patch claimed to be selling AB Emblem sales rep examples in the past, but I don't know if this was part of that group or not. The listing (362147807308) was the only thing I could turn up related to this patch, though.

Rough translation: "Live long after seeing a vision"?

I translated it from Hawaiian.

Google Translate renders it as "eternal life" (in Hawaiian). I don't know, but I suspect, this is to commemorate the life of Ellison Onizuka, who as we know was from Hawaii.

Ah, that make sense regarding Onizuka! The batch of patches these were mixed in with did all seem to be from the 80s.

No recall on who issued these?

All times are CT (US)
