My wonderful wife had some down time while in Las Vegas this weekend and took a tour of Wayne Newton's mansion. She took a blurry picture of a framed display of Apollo mission patches.

A sign said that Newton was a sponsor of NASA's Apollo insignia. I cannot find any information about this. I wonder what sponsoring the insignia means. Anyone know?
