Has anyone seen this commemorative patch before? I came across a few but don't know the origin. "USA Space Operations" is pretty broad, and it doesn't mention NASA specifically.  |

Is this the United Space Alliance's (USA) new operations patch/logo for the commercial crew/commercial space transportation program? |

United Space Alliance (USA) has no role in commercial crew or any program going forward. It effectively no longer exists. As of September 30, 2014, USA no longer holds active contracts and will not pursue future contracts. This commemorative patch does not have any relation to the former company. |

The Flight Operations patch with cards are now on eBay (141585161611). Although, it's a five patch lot. |

So while this isn't a new United Space Alliance (USA) patch, it is one of theirs, representing the flight operations team in Houston. I don't know (yet) when and or for what this patch was created, but can confirm it is original to USA. |

I picked up one of these patches in mid-2007, so it goes back at least that far. |
