I was recently on a trip to Florida for the AFSPC-04 launch, and I came across an unusual STS-57 patch variety. The coloring is a little odd compared to the AB Emblem version. Any opinions on this patch would be greatly appreciated. |

Is there a sticker on the back? I know I've sent more than one patch back to AB Emblem due to the wrong colors being used or being reversed on the patch. My guess is this is what happened on this one. |

It doesn't have a sticker on the back. |

I'm the one that found the STS-103 patches with the wrong colors. On those, they turned out to be a limited design run to show various color combinations before acceptance. They didn't have a sticker on the back either (if I recall correctly without checking), and shouldn't have left AB. This one may be the same. In the case of the 103 patches, there's only been about 30 found. I'm not saying that's what these are, but I've seen this before firsthand. | |
