Most collectSPACE members know the silver astronaut/cosmonaut pin awarded by the British Interplanetary Society (BIS-London) to astronauts and cosmonauts (so far Helen Sharman, Richard Garriott, Piers Sellers, Nicholas Patrick and Michael Foale)

Next year, 2013, will be BIS 80th anniversary year and a special logo was designed to celebrate the occasion...

Two 80th anniversary logo plaques will fly to the ISS and the logo will probably become available as a pin. We'll keep cS posted!

So far 80th anniversary items include a gel pad and mug... no pins yet.
