KSCVC "Atlantis: Celebrate the Journey" patchLast month, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex asked that I design a special event commemorative patch to mark the last time Atlantis will be moved. Unlike the more dramatic fly-outs of Discovery and Endeavour, Atlantis will be driven the 12 miles from the Vehicle Assembly Building to the new museum, now under construction at the visitor complex. I could not have accomplished this project without the help of Jorge Cartes and Nathan Moeller. Thank you gentlemen, a pleasure as always. The patches will be produced by AB Emblem and offered for sale at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. |

A very modern patch design, I would say, but beautiful! Nice to have a new patch, that is different from all the other patches around the shuttles´last journeys.Any ideas when these patches will be for sale at the KSCVC? |

VAB, launch pad, new museum? That's my guess for the three stars. |

The red line is in the shape of the route that Atlantis will take from the VAB to the KSCVC. The third star is where Atlantis will pause on its trip, Exploration Park. |
