Yesterday, I received my 2001 space related patch (ISS Expedition 37 mission patch). I have been collecting them for over 40 years. I have some framed on my walls and many more in binders. I keep an Excel spreadsheet of them to make sure I do not purchase duplicates. One day, I hope to take pictures of them all and post on a web site (if I can find the time). |

Congratulations indeed!! Well done... A question, when you say 2001, is each a different one or do you have some duplicates of some? I have probably close to 2000 patches myself, but quite a few duplicates as I try to get one for each flight it was on, e.g. the GAS - Get Away Special patch, for each mission it flew on, I am trying to get a patch. And in reference to your wanting to photograph them all, I wish I could do that myself. A good example is the USAFpatches.com and the gallery there. It would be great if there was a "library" where a pic of each patch could be posted. People could upload ones they do not see in the gallery and let it build up. A complete catalog of patches would then be available to be seen. Might not have it yourself, but you know what it would look like if you did. |

None of mine are duplicates. I may have several for the same type of mission, such as three different styles of the getaway specials. Any duplicates I have are listed on the same line in my spreadsheet as the original so they do not count towards the total. |
