This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Girl Scouts of America. Since 1912, the organization has grown to over 3.2 million girls and adults. On March 31, 2012, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will host a special "Salute to Girl Scouts" program in celebration.

Each participating Girl Scout will receive this commemorative 100th Anniversary Girl Scout patch:
