Seems the new Snoopy Award pins are going to be much larger than past ones (5 inches compared to 1/2 inch). Are these also going to be flown before being presented? If so, great. If not, what's the point of making them larger? Anyone know?

They aren't pins, nor are they replacing the existing pins. They are statues (apparently) specifically for awarding Return To Flight efforts. The procurement notice states that each figurine will be "three-dimensional" standing 5" on a base that will be engraved...
