Anybody know where this design comes from?

I remember a simpler blue/white design depicting the Jules Verne ATV approaching the ISS.

Yes this patch comes from the joint ESA/NASA team who ran a scientific observation campaign watching the reentry of ATV Jules Verne.

The logo below is the official ESA logo, but there was another patch worn by members of the project team, the design seen here.
