This was always my favorite mission emblem, from Terry Pratchett's Discworld book, "The Last Hero." The Latin motto means, "We who are about to die don't want to die." The mission emblem was made "for morale purposes."

Well...That's certainly the most majestic sea turtle I've ever seen. For what that's worth.

For those not familiar with the Discworld, the world is a disc which rests on the back of four elephants, which stand on the back of the Great A'Tuin, the celestial turtle who 'swims' through the cosmos. The Disc's small sun and moon orbit the turtle.
