Just got an e-mail - you probably did too. AB Emblem is making the C.O.L.B.E.R.T. treadmill emblem as an embroidered patch. It'll be available soon. |

I didn't think the COLBERT emblem patch was for real! With Steven Colbert's face on it riding the machine? Oh man, too funny! |

That's the one. Now that's a keeper! Someone should send Colbert a copy of the patch once it's done. I'd bet money he'd mention it on his show. |

I would not be surprised to see the patch soon listed for sale from the Comedy Central website. |

collectSPACE: Sold out space patch no longer a common COLBERT collectible Nearly a month before the payload it celebrates is scheduled to launch to space, a collectible embroidered patch has sold out, with no plans for it to be produced again. From the moment it was revealed last April, the insignia celebrating NASA's next space station-bound astronaut exercise device was in demand, which might have been considered unusual if it wasn't for the fact that the design featured both the name and cartoon likeness of comedian Stephen Colbert, star of Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report" parody talk show. |

Seems that the folks at Comedy Central liked the article: it's currently linked from the front page of ColbertNation.com.The Colbert fan-run No Fact Zone also linked. |

Interesting patch but another way for NASA to become a joke to the taxpayers. |

Purchased 3 COLBERT patches from Skyforce the day the sold out thread was posted. Received them yesterday. I guess haste doesn't necessarily make waste. I believe they took their patch off their site by Thursday. Skyforce must have had quite a few in stock when the news hit on the 4th. |

From our latest article: A few weeks after stores' existing supplies of the patch sold out, the once $5 souvenir started selling on eBay for as much as $180. As of the date of this article, of the few patches to be offered at auction, two had topped $100 in bids, with another was being sold for a "Buy It Now" price of $175. |

Anyone who would pay over 5 bucks for that patch has had their cheese slide off their cracker! |
