Announcing the availability of the official (Betty Grissom-approved) Gemini 3 "Molly Brown" commemorative patch. It is a 4-inch fully-embroidered design that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the first manned flight of the Gemini Program. The colors of the Flag of the United States make up the top border. The left border colors are the blue and silver of the U.S. Air Force, while the right border is gold and white of the U.S. Navy. The patch was designed by Tim Gagnon of Titusville, Florida, under commission by the Grissom family with help from Jorge Cartes of Madrid, Spain. The patch can be ordered from: Spring Mill State Park

Has anyone had any luck ordering this? I called yesterday and today, and have either gotten a "The park is closed" message or no answer.Is there any way to order online? |

I ordered two this morning by calling the number at the top of the post. A woman (don't recall her name) answered immediately, took my Visa order, and said the patches would go out tomorrow. Total was US$12.59. |

If you're having no luck with the Grissom museum, maybe try Tim Gagnon directly. I believe he's offering the patches as well. |
