I have had in my possession for quite some time some patches that came from a NASA employee back in the 70's. I have little knowledge of NASA collectables, but do know these are different from most patches that you can buy.
They are printed on what I am told is actual flight suit material and rough cut out of that material. Does any one know anything about these? I can email pictures of them to anyone who is interested.

It sounds like you may have some beta cloth patches. This material is what made up the outer layer of the Apollo era suit worn by the astronauts. Many of these "souvenir" patches were manufactured by the DuPont company in addition to the ones that were made for the Apollo suits.

Thanks for the info, you are the first person to tell me anything about these. I have had them since I was about 12 years old and am now 43.
I was going to have them framed and displayed in my house, but have not done it yet and likely never will. Do you know if those types of patches have any value?
