The only way to get a Stewart Aviation patch is by mail order? Is it possible to buy a Stewart Aviation patch from any store on any region of the world (Brazil for example)?

Visit their site at stewart-aviation.co.uk.

Send them an e-mail, they will send you a catalogue. They have a very good service and will certainly make it possible for you to order from Brazil.

Some news from Stewart Aviation:
Sorry to say, we are closing down for good on 19th December [2019]. We are all getting on a bit (all over 70!) and have decided the time has come to stop working.

We thank you for your help and speedy service in the past and wish you well for the future.

Sad news indeed. Not just because of their history, but because I was still planning on purchasing a few items from them in the next week or so. What about their backstock? Any way to get a hold of them other than through their old contact info?

Looks like their website has closed down. Sad days... end of an era!

On Wednesday 15th January I went up to the village between Market Harborough and Corby to see Fiona, and to go through all of her remaining space patches stocks.

I have bought a fair chunk of that remaining stock. That includes a selection of all the remaining Soviet/Russian patches produced by Stewart Emblems for the Soviet and Russian Space Agency (prior to spacepatches.nl taking that contract over).

Also a fair selection of the remaining stock of shuttle and associated patches like crew, participants, payloads and experiments. Also the unmanned satellites, platforms, laboratories, vehicles. Also the space agencies and facilities, anniversaries, specials and the ISS and their associated patches.

I had to leave behind all the USAF, RAF and other air force patches, airline and private flight patches, Airbase patches, air crew insignia and commemorative patches and other metal flight badges.

I will be listing for sale a lot of the space patches I bought on Wednesday on the Buy, Sell, Trade section of collectSPACE very soon. I am currently going through and sort out nearly a thousand patches.

If any cS members want to send me a "wants list," or request any patches from the Steward Emblems catalogues, for 2017 and 2018, please let me know the page number, patch reference number, and short description. Many thanks.

By the way; I have been a regular account holder customer (C.69) of Stewart Emblems/Aviation since February 1982.

Update; Many thanks for the two enquiries I have received so far.

Kevin, thank you for taking the time to make the journey and in turn make the remaining patches available to the collecting community. It is most appreciated.
