Last week, UP Aerospace announced the debut of their first mission insignia:
quote:
UP Aerospace, Inc., www.upaerospace.com, the world's premier supplier of low-cost space access, is continuing its preparations for the inaugural space launch from the New Mexico Spaceport this July. UP Aerospace's SpaceLoft XL vehicle provides the lowest cost-to-space of any space launch vehicle in the world.

UP Aerospace provides the general public and private enterprise with round-trip space flights for virtually any kind of payload. Companies and advertisers can use the service for one-of-a-kind marketing promotions, product "launches", commemorative "space-flown" merchandise, etc. Scientists and the educational community can use the service for ultra-low-cost research, microgravity experimentation, etc. All for a fraction of the cost of other space-flight options.

UP Aerospace has also unveiled its official "Mission Patch" for the inaugural space launch. These limited-edition, commemorative "SL-1" ("SpaceLoft Mission 1") Mission Patches are only available from UP Aerospace. Given the magnitude and historic nature of the event, these patches are sure to be an instant collector's item.

And from their website:
quote:
The first Mission Patch that we are making available is the limited-edition, commemorative "SL-1 Mission Patch". This is the official Mission Patch for the inaugural space launch ("SpaceLoft Mission 1") from the New Mexico Spaceport. We commissioned the esteemed artist John Parkinson to design this historic Mission Patch. Given the magnitude and historic nature of the event, this is sure to be a collector's item!

We're offering this Mission Patch two ways:

  1. Standard Mission Patch. Just $29.95.
  2. Mission Patch that will be actually flown on the upcoming inaugural space flight in July! Only a handful of these "space flown" patches will be on this historic flight. If you'd like one of these patches -- that will also be hand-signed on the back by the principals of UP Aerospace -- this is your one-and-only opportunity! Talk about a rare collector's item! Just $299.95. (This very special Mission Patch will be delivered to you approximately one week after the space flight.)
