So does anyone know if AB Emblem, or anyone else, is going to do an Altair patch to match the existing Orion, Constellation and Ares patches?------------------

For what it's worth, and it may not be worth much, but when I asked NASA for a high resolution version of the Altair artwork, I was told that the logo was for internal use only and that such files would not be made available. Of course, they said the same thing about the Constellation, Orion and Ares logos and even though they have yet to post high resolution files (officially at least) of any of them, patches for those now exist. So anything is possible... |

Strange what NASA told you about the Altair "Eagle" patch. I have Altair patches available at $5 each that includes shipping within the USA. They're 4 1/2 inches at the base and 4" high. Really a beautiful patch design with 100% embroidery.Just email me off list if interested in one or Robert can let you know my address. Also have Altair, Orion, and Constellation program patches in addition to lapel pins available. |

Does anybody know when did the Altair Eagle patch first come out? Was it December 2007 or January 2008? Just wondering. Thanks! |

Let me recheck, but our Altair/Eagle patches were produced before Dec. 2008 (perhaps even as early as Sept/Oct., but I'll report back here soon with a definite answer). |

I was at the KSC gift shop a couple of weeks ago, seeking an Altair pin, but they were out. Anybody know where I can find one?Thanks,

I have an Altair patch. I think they're made by a different manufacturer to the other Constellation patches, as when I bought those I found that they were very thin and flexible. I don't know if they've changed the design since I bought them, but my Altair patch feels more like a normal embroidered patch.Anyone else notice this difference between them? |
