Orbital ATK Cygnus Commercial Resupply Services Mission (OA-7)

A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket carrying an uncrewed Cygnus cargo spacecraft will lift off from the Complex 41 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on the OA-7 mission.

The OA-7 mission is the seventh Orbital ATK cargo delivery flight to be launched towards the International Space Station under NASA's Commercial Resupply Services contract.

This is the NASA insignia for Orbital ATK's OA-7 resupply flight.

The OA-7 Cygnus service module is on its way to NASA Kennedy! Launch to the space station is scheduled for NET March 16.

The OA-7 mission is Orbital ATK's seventh Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) mission to deliver supplies to the International Space Station, represented by the seven white stars. The Cygnus spacecraft is prominently featured in the center of the design and also by the stylized white swan, with the head and neck representing the OA-7 mission moniker.

The space station is depicted in gold at the tip of the swan's wing. Cygnus is shown rising into the orbit provided by the ULA Atlas launch vehicle, represented by the red, white and blue trajectory emanating from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.

The yellow and red flame emblazoned on the body of the swan represents the third of three Spacecraft Fire Experiments (Saffire) developed by NASA's Glenn Research Center, which is being flown on this mission. The name of the program, the customer and the launch vehicle partner are featured on the outer ring of the design.
