I am looking for a model/toy for my son. He is 8. Space station or shuttle or other space type stuff. I would want something 3 or 4D. Snap together. But something that he can also play with... Any thoughts? Thanks

Fame Master (4D Master) has a number of toy models that may be appropriate. Check out their 4D Puzzle Space Series, as well as their 4D Vision space shuttle and Saturn V.

LEGO currently has a few space-themed sets as part of their City line, including a Space Starter Set, a Utility Shuttle, a Training Jet Transporter and a Spaceport.
