Bradford Exchange release
Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Lunar Lander Sculpture

Fulfilling the goal set forth by President Kennedy in 1961, the Apollo 11 crew of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins included the first astronauts to land on the moon on July 20, 1969. Now, relieve the excitement of this monumental milestone in the history of mankind with the Apollo 11 Masterpiece Tribute Sculpture, exclusively from The Bradford Exchange, Hawthorne Village Division.

Superbly handcrafted and hand-painted, this one-of-a-kind presentation features a miniature replica sculpture of the Apollo 11 Lunar Module that landed Armstrong and Aldrin on the moon. The handsome base features archival photos from the Apollo 11 mission, the mission insignia - designed by astronaut Collins as a symbol of peace - and Armstrong's famous statement as he set foot on the lunar surface: "...one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind". An heirloom-quality collectible and a thrilling patriotic gift, this tribute also proudly features a recreation of the flag planted by Armstrong and Aldrin in the Sea of Tranquility and a textured lunar surface, complete with the astronaut's bootprints.

Looks like a nice model. Only wish it had been to a larger scale.
