I normally only collect Travel Agent Airplane models but could I not resist this one. I came about and bought it a few weeks ago and it is about 17" tall, made mostly of metal but some wood. A good friend of mine thinks the model shop at Convair built it as they did most models for the old General Dynamics.

Only have a few space models in my airplane collection, here is a nice old GE Nimbus model made of metal and resin. 9" tall.

Nice finds! I'm not sure I've ever seen either, but the Nuclear Pulse Vehicle is especially interesting from an historical perspective. |

A good friend, Scott Lowther, is an expert on the Orion Project and is really interested in that model. If you could, please email me so I can pass that on to him. Or visit his website, Aerospace Projects Review, there's lots of info on the Orion there. |
