Found this at Hobby Link: 1/144 NASA Space Shuttle by Minicraft.
Detailed kit of the Space Shuttle. Can be built landing gear up or down, and the payload bay doors can open and close. Includes flight deck and payload bay internal detail. This is the orbiter only.
Unfortunately not much details.

I imagine this is the same orbiter from the kit that has been around since the 80's from the old Entex brand. The nose is way too pointed. It has a little Landsat in the cargo bay and the clear blue launch base. I have the newest Minicraft kit with boosters and is the same old kit.

I would say save your money for something else given that this kit is VERY overpriced for being an orbiter only kit in 1/144 and not the full stack. Only benefit on getting it might be the decal sheet since while the plastic is okay (except for the way too pointy nose), it is best left as a parts donor to either the Airfix or Revell kits and both of those are available currently as full stack model kits.

I didn't notice the pointy noise at first...

I'd avoid the new release of the Minicraft Shuttle kit.

The SRB's and ET in the 'older' Minicraft kits are great for using with a Revell orbiter but the Minicraft orbiter is badly shaped. The nose is too pointy and the payload doors are too rounded.

The Revell stack that's now available has a great decal sheet and the newly re-issued Airfix stack kit also has new decals. Either of these 2 kits are far superior to the new Minicraft kit and both come with the full stack.

All times are CT (US)
