Cleveland hosted the iHobby Expo this weekend where Round 2 Models displayed their re-issues of old AMT and MPC model kits. They indicated the 1:100 MPC Vostok will be available the first quarter of 2013, and the tooling for the 1:100 Titan IIIC is being prepared fro re-issue in 2014. |

Round 2 has some excellent models in the works from Christmas right through 2013. I've seen some previews and it actually has me thinking about working with styrene again.(They're coming out with a 1/6 scale Robot from Lost in Space for mid-year 2013. How awesome is that?) I'm very impressed with Round 2, as well as Mobieus, for their attention to detail. I hope they get into real space a little more. Time will tell. |

Actually, it is Moebius who is going to be doing the 1/6 LIS robot. Round 2 hasn't had the LIS contract for a few years (although their kits are still relatively easy to obtain). Why just think about working in styrene? I say DO IT! |

I constantly get them mixed up. Round 2 is also Polar Lights and a few other companies.Going back to styrene will be great. It's just that it seemed that there wasn't anything worth building in styrene lately. Seeing these models up and coming gives me hope once again. I love resin, but styrene is a lot more forgiving. |
