I am looking for figures to demonstrate the scale of my models. There are many train set HO and N scale figures, however, HO scale is 1/87 and N scale is 1/148 (pretty close!).

Where do you folks purchase the figures that you use in your dioramas from?

Are we talking about figures that specifically look like astronauts or just any old figures?

Prieser in Germany I am pretty sure do some 1/144 scale figures (or at least N gauge ones) that could work if you want just people.

But, if you want something more with a space slant, try HLJ.com or Starshipmodeler.com's Hobby Shop as I know there are some crew figures made for the Gundam robot kits (I think Wave makes them). Traditional scales for Gundams tend to be 1/144 and 1/100, so that would cover those angles.

EDIT: Found them! Mobile Staff 1/100 | Mobile Staff 1/144

It looks like the wear pressure suits mainly, but in this scale, blobs of paint can alter appearances easily. I seem to recall Dragon has also done 1/144 figures of German and Russian soldiers from WW2 and I've seen those painted to look like other stuff successfully.
