Can someone with a Hyatt Apollo Command and Service Module (CSM) model provide the dimensions of the black base? How does the plastic collar attach, does it sit a groove/recess?

Dimensions I would like: diameter bottom, diameter of top (it appears to taper slightly), thickness of base and ideally, a photo of how the collar mounts.

Thank you!

I happen to have one of those model bases sitting outside of my display case. The bottom diameter of the black piece is a hair over 6-7/8". The base tapers inward 1/8" at the top around the circumference (reducing the diameter by a total of 1/4"). The height of the base is 7/8". The wall thickness of the black plastic is about 3/32".

The clear and white SLA collar appears to be glued on with very thin adhesive. There is evidence of two small registration pins that protrude slightly through the top surface of the black base for proper positioning. There does not seem to be a groove at the interface.

I will follow up with photos in an email.

That clear plastic collar connects to the base with two tiny pins which extend out the bottom of it, across from each other. There are subsequently two little holes in the black base where they attach. There is no round recess and the one I have is detachable thus not glued into place.

Thank you for the information and photos (received in e-mail). It is greatly appreciated. Now to test my 3D printing CAD skills.
