I am not a model builder, however I recently purchased a series of technical drawings from Glenn Johnson at Real Space Models. I intend to use them as reference material for space paintings.

Most space modellers likely know this, but others who just wish to purchase a series of excellent technical drawings, these are the ones to get.

David Weeks draughtsmanship it outstanding and the quality of the printing is excellent. I picked up several sets:

  • Skylab
  • Gemini
  • Apollo Spacecraft and Supplemental which includes the Lunar Module
  • Saturn 1B
I did not pickup the Saturn V and Mercury to complete the set. I wish I had. Another time.

All the drawings or outstanding but I wish I had bought the the Skyklab drawings in the fall. I would have had the 8 remaining crew sign one of the sheets and had it framed. They are that good.

I hate to use the drawings for fear of ruining them.

Glenn Johnson's Real Space Models offer excellent service and the price for these drawings was outstanding.

I'm considering having my sets framed or laminated. They really are fantastic.

All times are CT (US)
